I'm a fan of dynamic music in games when done well, and they do a pretty good job. A substantial amount of the combat will occur "outdoors" or in larger, multidimensional rooms.Īs to the music - they balance it well. Level layout is not nearly as predictable as Doom 3 - it is much more open and varied - ther are a lot of people calling it a corridor shooter, but I can't help thinking they played less of the game. But again, unless you were at least in some way intrigued by what you've seen, I can't pretend that $60 is worth it. It is really fun, and they nailed the rythym of combat perfectly, in my opinion.
